ONA Recipe Box -- Cranberry Bars

Ingredients
1 pkg. butter cake mix
½ cup canola oil
2 eggs
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup walnuts (or pecans)
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 can whole cranberry sauce
Heat oven to 350°. Spray 9x13 baking dish with Pam, set aside.
Stir together cake mix, oats, nuts, and ginger in a large bowl. Stir in oil and eggs. Mixture will be very thick. Using finger tips spread ½ of the mixture into bottom of dish. Reserve other ½ for topping.
In separate bowl gently stir cranberry sauce. Spread evenly over crust. Pinch and press pieces of reserved mixture and scatter over filling.
Bake 35-40 min. or until light brown.
Let cool for 30 min. cut into 24 portions.
